As her lengthy untitled installation seems to infer, Nicole Leung wonders about what our relationship is to these types of indeterminacies. How does one come to find themselves in such positions? Is it something internal or external that causes such weightlessness?
Like empty words or actions, this void is filled with air by the artist navigating these interstices as a Chinese and American but plopped down to physically and metaphorically occupy site.
